Founded in 1984, the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA) has been expanding strategic relationships between Canada and Asia, acting as a source for business intelligence for over thirty years. Through its eight chapters (Atlantic, Montreal, Ottawa, GTA, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver), the HKCBA has built a strong reputation from coast to coast as well as long-standing relationships with business and government throughout Canada, Hong Kong, China and the rest of Asia.
As one of Canada's largest bilateral trade associations, HKCBA continually strives to deliver value by:
- Providing a conduit between government organizations and business promoting Hong Kong-Canada bilateral trade and investment initiatives
- Creating a forum for professionals and entrepreneurs alike to forge business connections
- Providing timely and relevant market intelligence related to trade and investment opportunities in Asia and Canada through events and publications
- Facilitating access to a global network of SMEs through our membership with the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide; comprised of 41 Hong Kong Business Associations in 30 countries with over 13,000 individual associates
The HKCBA is a part of the Hong Kong Family, a network of Hong Kong and Canadian government organizations, trade associations and international businesses including the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Invest Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Cathay Pacific, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
