Hong Kong Internet of Things Alliance is a non-profit professional group established by IoT industry leaders and volunteers with a mission of co-creating the IoT Economy in Hong Kong and the global community. As of January 2018, the alliance has 500+ associate members from different industries.
We have been actively supporting the development of the IoT Ecosystem in the Greater China region. Our work partners include chambers of commerce, consulates, and other professional groups around the world. If you are interested in collaborating, feel free to contact us at: info@hkiota.org
Originally established in October 2013 and registered in Mar 2014 as a non-profit Society under the name of Hong Kong Internet of Things Association* (reg. 0051301), the group is now incorporated as a non-profit under the name of Hong Kong Internet of Things Alliance since July 2016 under the supervision of a Steering committee formed by industry leaders.
*Declaration: We have received many inquiries about another private company who happens to use the same name as our original society name, Hong Kong Internet of Things Association. We note that our Society was registered under the Society Ordinance instead as a non-profit but not private company. We declare that we have no relation with such private company.
