Hong Kong Academy

Hong Kong Academy is a non-profit, international through-train school offering a joyful and rigorous education for children aged 3 to 18 years. HKA students hone the competencies, knowledge and skills they need to be successful today and in the future. Established in 2000, HKA is one of only eight fully-authorised three-programme International Baccalaureate World Schools in Hong Kong, and the only one offering the Global Citizen Diploma programme. HKA students consistently outperform the IB Diploma world pass rates and enter competitive universities and colleges around the globe. HKA teachers are experienced specialists and, in addition to their teaching qualifications, around 50% of faculty hold a masters degree and/or other postgraduate diplomas. The school’s award-winning campus boasts a professional grade theatre and visual art studios, outdoor playscapes and sports pitches, and multiple science and design labs in which STEAM projects come to life.
