HomeGround is a dedicated freehold portfolio asset manager, originally established in 2010 to act for major UK institutional pension fund clients investing in residential ground rent. We currently manage a portfolio comprising in excess of 190,000 leasehold properties across England & Wales, for which HomeGround administers the landlord obligations and collects ground rent. HomeGround’s Estates Management team appoints and oversees 90+ independent managing agents across our portfolio, as well as liaison with a wide range of RMCs and third party appointed managing agents on issues involving the landlord.
We are a member of the Property Ombudsman redress scheme and are authorised and regulated by the FCA for insurance mediation activities, in respect of which we act as an Appointed Representative of Arthur J Gallagher. We are also members of ARMA and the Fire Protection Association.
As part of our company growth, the focus has been on recruiting talented and qualified property professionals and investing in technology to help drive service excellence. All operational customer services, as well as our client and financial reporting are underpinned by our market leading asset management QUBE (now re-branded MRI Software) software platform, which we develop and maintain inhouse. Our current employees include two Charted Accountants, four qualified Solicitors, a Fellow of the CIPD, two senior fire and building safety professionals, including a Chartered Fire Engineer, and three highly experienced Estate Managers. We encourage all our staff across the company to take up additional training and qualifications, with a particular focus on IRPM for all staff in our operational teams dealing with leasehold services.
