Holy Cow! Creative is a strategic design and digital agency based in Surry Hills, Sydney. We specialise in branding, environments and marketing. We are passionate about what we do and we understand that to successfully grow brands we need to go beyond beautiful creative. Holy Cow! was founded by Melissa Webber in 1995 in response to a growing need for boutique agencies that cared about good design and cared about their clients. The last ten years have seen a revolution in design. Good design used to be the domain of brands who understood its value and were willing to invest in trained designers. Now it’s everywhere. Widespread recognition of the benefits of design and a range of new digital design tools have led to the democratisation of design. It’s accessible and affordable to everyone...and that’s a great thing. But this has brought with it new challenges. Beautiful design used to signify a brand’s quality – evoking trust, reflecting core values and conveying substance. Now we no longer rely on the same cues to judge a brand. Because we are now bombarded with so much ‘good design’ every day, creative needs to work harder, connect more deeply, provoke thought and engage.
