What is HoistPoint? HoistPoint is a social-impact company that is filling the gaps in education through innovative courses, coaching, and community. HoistPoint was started by a social-impact entrepreneur determined to help protect, educate, and inspire youth in the face of failing education systems which are outdated, dumbed-down, test-centric, and incomplete. What does Hoist Point mean? The “hoist point” is the part of the plane where the propeller is located. Thus, HoistPoint's uplifting, online courses, coaching, and community propel youth to their callings, or personal legends, by providing students with the information they actually need to succeed. Modern education may fall short in adequately preparing youth for life and the future of work, but that doesn't mean youth don't have options to supplement their education.
