Hochschild Mining is a Peruvian gold and silver mining company, listed on the London Stock Exchange, with operations in South America and over 100 years of tradition.
In Brazil, its assets include the Mara Rosa project, started after the acquisition of Amarillo Gold Corp, an open pit located in the municipality of Mara Rosa, in the northern region of the state of Goias.
Focused on research and project development, the company has 66,000 hectares in its prospecting permit, of which 2,400 hectares already have a mining permit. In 2021, it received its first Installation License and is currently in the construction stage, with production forecast for the first half of 2024 estimated at 102,000 ounces of gold per year in the first four years of operation.
