Historic Newspapers

Historic Newspapers owns the largest private archive of British original newspapers. The company has access to nearly 7m papers dating back to 1685, many rare editions covering famous historical events. The newspapers are sold primarily as commemorative gifts for customers' key dates such as a 50th birthday or silver anniversary. Historic Newspapers parent company Signature Gifts Ltd has created a digital archive of scanned papers and has licences with a number of titles to reproduce these as newspaper gifts. The company also has agreements with virtually all the major UK newspaper groups acting as their fulilment house offering recent back issue editions.
