HIPSO Multimedia (OTC‐BB: HPSO) is uniquely positioned to become the number one
HD format TV supplier to retail and wholesale markets in North America. Through its
wholly owned subsidiary Valtech Communications Inc. the company currently
provides “triple play” services in Canada. Upon the launch of its new platform HIPSO
HDTV (High‐definition television) will deliver real‐time broadcast HDTV over
broadband IP (Internet Protocol) networks. To attain its goal of market leadership,
HIPSO has secured a key partnership with Ericsson, the world’s leading IPTV
equipment and network supplier. As Ericsson’s only North American co‐development
partner, HIPSO and Ericsson have announced their affiliation and intention to jointly
penetrate the North American market.
HIPSO will offer its unmatched 50Mbps Broadband Internet, Fully Loaded Digital
Phone, and True Interactive HDTV services directly to consumers in Canada. In the
U.S. market, HIPSO will offer HDTV services to end‐users primarily through ISPs,
CLECs and other partners with established customer bases. HIPSO will alleviate the 3
primary concerns of IPTV delivery for its partners ‐namely, IPTV technology expertise,
network infrastructure and available content - by performing the video programming
aggregation, digital MPEG‐4 encoding, IP conversion, and distribution services using
its state‐of‐the‐art fiber optic network. HIPSO will offer a robust channel lineup using
IP multicast format as well as value‐added services such as video on demand (VoD)
and personal video recording (PVR) to enhance the consumer viewing experience.
