Hind Enamel
The company was founded in 1945 under the name of Pioneer Enameling Works by two brothers Surinder Singh and Taran Indar Singh in the city of Amritsar, Punjab. The factory was relocated to Bombay in 1955 and to Alibag outside Bombay in 2002 and renamed Hind Enamel. It now runs under the guidance of Sevi Singh, son of Taran Indar Singh.
Our main line of business is the manufacture of vitreous enameled signboards (namely Danger Boards, Number Plates, Phase Plates, Circuit Plates) for various structural engineering companies for their transmission line projects. Through these companies our products have been exported to Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iran, Iraq, Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE etc. for their transmission line projects. In the domestic market we cater to Power Grid Corporation of India and various State Electricity Boards, who are the end users.
We pride ourselves on the manufacture of a quality product, strictly within specifications and with zero rejections. At every stage of our manufacturing process, quality control systems are at work.
