The High Park Nature Centre is a registered charity that promotes awareness, understanding and respect for the natural world. We engage people of all ages in the stewardship of High Park through hands-on environmental education. Our year-round programs inspire park visitors to develop a closer connection with nature in the city. The Nature Centre is situated in downtown Toronto's largest green space, High Park. Our 399-acre outdoor classroom includes wetlands, woodlands and rare black oak savannah. Each year we engage over 9,000 children, youth and families in nature exploration and environmental stewardship.
