Höfuðstöðin is an art and culture destination located in Reykjavík, Iceland. Höfuðstöðin permanently displays the monumental large-scale installation Chromo Sapiens by Shoplifter / Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir that was debuted at the Icelandic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2019, to worldwide critical acclaim. Höfuðstöðin also features a gift shop, café & bar with outdoor seating, and an event venue.
