Job duties include generating summaries of insurance and proposals, receptionist, online rating, assisting account managers. This person is the first person to make an impression on our customers so it requires energy, a positive personality, great communication skills, organization, and a desire to help others. This person must have a valid P&C license, must also have very good computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. Salary range of $32k-$38k depending on experience plus benefits. Henry John Ham, the founder of the Henry Ham Insurance Agency, began his insurance career in 1926 in Denver, Colorado.
Henry had been born in Montague, Michigan in 1899. He grew up in Hudson, Colorado, a small town northeast of Denver where his parents settled shortly after his birth.
Soon after his high school graduation, Henry enlisted in the U.S. Air Corps. When World War I ended, he returned to school. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Denver School of Commerce.

Henry's son Rod joined the agency in 1965. Through cold calling and telephone contacts, he was responsible for developing new business. For many years it was just Henry, Rod and a secretary.
Rod was active in his church and in the community. He was also involved with several non- profit organizations. This led to the opportunity to provide non-profit business insurance to these organizations, some of which the agency continues to insure today.
