Helios Rocketry

Helios Rocketry is a team of students pushing the boundaries of what has been done by students in the aerospace field! We are on the journey to create a new wave of innovation and enthusiasm for space exploration by empowering students to participate in more hands-on, complex STEM projects! The way we are doing this is by competing to win the Base 11 Space Challenge a $1 Million competition for the first student-led team that designs, builds, and launches a liquid-propelled, single stage rocket to an altitude of 100KM. We are building a liquid propelled rocket to go to space! We are working to create a permanent place at Arizona State University, where business and Engineering students can come together to work on complex STEM projects, to supplement their classroom learning and leave university with the hands-on experience and talent that leading companies and start-ups alike are looking for.
