On January 1, 2016, Heartland Farm Mutual Inc. became a legal entity, formed from the merger of North Waterloo Farmers Mutual and Oxford Mutual. These two parent companies brought together long-standing experience in serving Ontario’s insurance needs. In August 2021, Heartland Farm Mutual amalgamated with The Kings Mutual Insurance Company of Berwick, Nova Scotia.
