Hearthstone Hospitality operates 3 hotels in Nova Scotia: 1 in the Port Hawkesbury area at the entrance to Cape Breton Island, 1 in Sydney on the east coast of Cape Breton Island and 1 in the heart of Dartmouth. We have been in operation for over 10 years and our owner has over 40 years of hospitality experience. In fact, the combined experience of our management staff is over 100 years. Our staff understands what it takes to make you feel at home here in the beautiful environs of Atlantic Canada. To us, the brand “hearthstone” represents unity, warmth and pride. Gathering Place of the Family According to Webster’s dictionary, the hearthstone represents the gathering place of the family wherein warmth and comfort were derived. Our primary business is the hospitality industry and we wish warmth and comfort for all our guests. Therefore, we felt the name was a good fit for or vision and goals.
