WeightMatters combines targeted psychological and nutritional services in the treatment of obesity and eating disorders. EmotionMatters provides treatment for general mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, relationship problems and stress management. NutritionalMatters specialises in creating optimal health and wellbeing, together with managing illness and disease, and sports performance. Surgical WeightMatters, our partnership with top bariatric surgeon Sanjay Purkayastha, offers excellence in the field of weight loss and bariatric surgery. Since 2005 when James Lamper, our now clinical director, launched WeightMatters, we have helped thousands of clients positively change their lives, particularly in their relationship to food, eating, weight and their body. We have a large team of highly qualified professionals including eating & behavioural therapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, dieticians and nutritional therapists. Our clients will work with the team to achieve positive health and behavioural changes resulting in optimal nutrition, reduced stress levels, increased energy, improved health and a happier work/lifestyle balance. We believe effective treatment comes from understanding our clients, and from ensuring as practitioners we understand the specific nuances and complexities of the multitude of presentations of disordered eating, eating disorders, obesity and other health conditions that you may present with.
