Health In The Hood

Health in the Hood’s mission is to provide equal food access for food insecure individuals and communities through our urban farming, food distribution, and wellness programs.   At Health in the Hood, we use urban farming to create local food ecosystems.  We grow and distribute free produce twice a week to food insecure families in the surrounding food desert neighborhoods.  Our vibrant vegetable gardens are our living classrooms for our wellness programs to educate and empower communities.   Health in the Hood is a 501c3 organization.
