The Health Consumers' Council is an independent not for profit organisation dedicated to ensuring that consumers are central to health service planning, delivery and review. Our vision is for equitable, person-centred healthcare for all West Australians.
We provide individual advocacy for WA health consumers at any stage of the journey from right in the middle of a health care episode, to navigating the feedback and complaints mechanisms.
We also provide training for consumers who want to be part of creating a better health system, and we support health service providers to feel confident in engaging with consumers. See www.hconc.org.au for more information.
