Headshots Matter

As a corporate portrait photographer in Canada for almost 40 years, I’ve always loved photographing people. Over the years, I've also cherished the opportunity to connect with and mentor other creative professionals. As an extension of my passion for nurturing creative relationships, I created the headshotsMatter project, which has evolved from a simple website connecting a dozen or so photographers with headshot clients into a dynamic and creative community. I take great pride in witnessing the development of supportive relationships between photographers, as well as the mutual respect and championing of each other's work within the community. As we move headshotsMatter forward into its fifth year, we will continue to curate and expand our membership. Additionally, we'll actively seek larger corporate headshot projects to collaborate on with our photographers, similar to the successful global headshot project we coordinated earlier this year for our friends at SnapChat. We’ll also be rolling out our creative mentorship program as we strongly believe in education and the creative development of our members.
