Hatch Films CIC is an established community impact film production company. A NatWest Top 100 Leading Social Enterprise and one of the only not-for-profit production companies in the U.K. We provide training, work experience, networking and employment opportunities for diverse talent who may face barriers to working in the industry with a focus on those from the Global Majority, LGBTQ+ and low socioeconomic backgrounds. We also provide services in the form of video production, animation and photography to a range of clients including National Portrait Gallery, BBC, Frieze, NACFB, Kick It Out, OMD UK and more. The work we do with client's feeds into our development of talent, we pay those who we are supporting in training, junior or assistant roles as well as all profits from our client services being used to fund our social enterprise. We fill a critical gap in provision for the many talented young people who lack the contacts, resources or belief necessary to develop a career in the creative industries. 90% of our trainees have since gone on to work within film or media.
