Hansestadt Lüneburg

Lüneburg is the economic and cultural center of northeastern Lower Saxony, home to around 78,000 people. The city is located in charming surroundings on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. There are convenient transport connections to the major cities of Hamburg and Hanover. Lüneburg has a university, has schools of all systems and offers modern sports and leisure facilities as well as numerous cultural institutions. The Hanseatic City of Lüneburg currently employs about 1,500 people and sees itself as a modern service provider for its residents.
