Hampshire Loc

Hampshire Local Optical Committee (LOC) is a statutory body established to represent optometrists providing General Ophthalmic Services in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth City and Southampton City. The remit of the LOC is set out in its Constitution The work of the LOC is funded by the collection of a statutory levy, based on a percentage of sight test fee income. The amount deducted, calculated after drawing up the budget, is agreed by a resolution at the AGM. Accounts and a report of the LOCs work are produced for the AGM.
