The HGR Story:
Home Grown Lacrosse was founded in 2005 by Bryan Brazill, a life-long lacrosse player and passionate student of the game. Bryan traveled the world playing in Australia, Hawaii and California…
Bryan graduated from Merrimack College where he was among the top ten points producers in the country in his junior and senior year. He went on to coach at all levels of the game from youth to the collegiate level, including at his alma mater.
He continues to coach today as the head assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Merrimack College. He found his passion in coaching the individual “forgotten” skills of the sport spawning the start of Home Grown Lacrosse.
Home Grown was run exclusively outdoors until January 5th 2007 when we opened the doors to our new state of the art indoor training facility and turf field.
Home Grown quickly outgrew our space and on October 15th, 2009 we re-opened our doors to reveal an expansion that more than doubled the size of our indoor space.
In the September of 2012 Home Grown Lacrosse merged Raptors Lacrosse. The merger was an instant success and the newly formed HGR Lacrosse elite teams and leagues flourished.
We just recently finished our 2nd expansion in October of 2013 with new offices, restrooms, a spacious lobby and most importantly an even bigger field.
HGR now proudly runs the biggest indoor high school lacrosse league in New England as well as highly competitive elite teams that send players off to play competitive college lacrosse every year. We also continue to offer the services that have made us so popular like our clinics, camps and more!
