Important target markets include creating storage solutions for renewable energy, supplying hydrogen refuelling stations and providing hydrogen for industry. Giner ELX is the leading supplier of sophisticated, productive PEM electrolysis. Around 20, 000 PEM electrolysis stacks and PEM electrolysis systems have been sold so far. Reputable companies and institutions such as Lockheed Martin, General Motors, NASA, NAVY, Areva, Abengoa, Parker-Hannifin, Boeing and General Electric are all customers of Giner. Hydrogen production of individual stacks starts at just a few litres and reaches up to more than 200 Nm³ hydrogen per hour.
