Since being established in 1952, H. J. Russell & Company has grown to be one of the largest African-American-owned construction services businesses in the United States. Initially founded by Herman J. Russell as a general contracting company, through the years, Mr. Russell expanded the firm to include other areas such as real estate development, property management, as well as program management.
Today, with a project portfolio spanning more than half a century, we have established extensive experience in building and renovating airports, entertainment venues, sports facilities, cultural, retail, office, higher education, multi-family residential, and institutional facilities.
