Gusto 54 was founded by CEO Janet Zuccarini in 1996 with the opening of Trattoria Nervosa in Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood. In addition to this concept, Gusto 54 Restaurant Group includes: Gusto 101 (Toronto), Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen (Toronto), Felix Trattoria, (Venice, California), and Gusto 54 Catering & Commissary. In 2014, Janet partnered with Jeff & Nuit Regular in creating Pai Northern Thai Kitchen (Toronto), Kiin (Toronto), and Same Same (Toronto). 2019 will mark a year of expansion for Gusto 54, with the launch of Gusto 501 in Toronto's East End as well as Gusto Green in Downtown Los Angeles.
