I’m Dr. Sangeeta Gupta, and I founded Gupta Consulting to help CDOs and HR leaders create and implement DEI programs that meet their organization’s unique needs. I believe that the best DEI programs are rooted in empathy, compassion, and a belief that we all have an obligation to do the right thing. I also know that effective DEI strategies must be driven by data, meet definable goals, be cost-effective, and achieve measurable results. These values are not mutually exclusive; I combine them to help you build a truly inclusive and welcoming environment where innovation, engagement, and productivity can flourish. Our methodology is based on a data-driven and customized approach. We move DEI beyond a race-based and U.S.-centric approach. Our approach incorporates inclusion with unconscious bias, race and ethnicity, gender, multiculturalism, cultural competency, and the development of a global mindset.
