Gujarat International Maritime Arbitration Centre (Gimac)

The Gujarat International Maritime Arbitration Centre (GIMAC) is conceived as a specialist ADR centre established under the auspices of the Gujarat Maritime University, with a mission to organise and manage, arbitration and mediation proceedings in disputes related to all sectors, particularly the maritime and shipping sector. The GIMAC is housed at the Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City, in Gandhinagar within India's first ever commercial maritime cluster ecosystem - The Gujarat Maritime Cluster. With envisaged access to experienced arbitrators, legal professionals practicing in maritime & admiralty law as well as professionals and experts from the maritime and shipping sector, GIMAC intends to provide quick and effective dispute resolution, competing at par with other globally renowned maritime arbitral institutions.
