Guido Berlucchi is a family-owned winery in the Franciacorta region (Lombardy, northern Italy).
Founded in 1955 by Guido Berlucchi, whose family owned the estate and produced wine since the XVII century, this winery sparkled the blossoming of the prestigious Franciacorta DOGC denomination when Guido Berlucchi joined forces with visionary enologist Franco Ziliani. The two pioneered the production of sparkling wine in Franciacorta: in 1961 the company sealed three thousand bottles of Pinot di Franciacorta , the first wine elaborated according to the “classic method” (based on double fermentation) of the territory .
In the following decades, the company has established itself as a leader in the production of classic method in Italy, while distribution is rapidly growing in the rest of the world, and the Franciacorta denomination has acquired wide recognition as one of the most prestigious wine-growing regions in the world.
Guido Berlucchi’s portfolio marries purity with innovation, spanning from the classic “Cuvée Imperiale” to the innovative “61” product line, to the top of the range “'61 Nature” vintage and “Palazzo Lana” riserva wines.
The brand Berlucchi has become an icon of the Italian excellence in the world, representing Italian core values such as passion, style, creativity and exuberance.
