The compulsory school administration is responsible for the municipality’s compulsory schools from year 0-9, the compulsory schools for pupils with learning difficulties and the leisure care. The compulsory school administration includes 162 schools with 60 950 pupils and have a total of 8 800 co-workers. The mission with our work is to:
- improve quality of teaching, to enhance pupils’ learning.
- increase equality of opportunity between schools, so that all pupils have access to high quality teaching and compensate for their different conditions.
- create clearer responsibilities, control and management, to improve pupils’ proficiency results.
