Artemis is the holding company of the Pinault family. Founded in 1992, Artemis carries out long term investments in companies with strong growth potential. Over the past 30 years, Artémis has built a substantial and balanced portfolio of assets with strong international brands, the majority of which operate across the broad spectrum of the luxury goods and services sector. Its consolidated assets are currently valued at some €40 billion. Artémis is led by a tight-knit team whose members manage all investment decisions and provide portfolio oversight. Our Portfolio Artémis is the controlling shareholder of Kering, one of the world leaders in Luxury. Artémis also owns Christie’s, the worldwide leading auction house, several prestigious vineyards, including Château Latour, rated a “Premier Cru Classé” since 1855, the French luxury cruise ships company Ponant, the newsmagazine Le Point and the Stade Rennais Football Club.
