At the heart of Green Earth Outdoors is a commitment to share with people of all ages, the skills, confidence and experiences to enjoy the natural world responsibly; and instill in them lifelong values to make ethical choices and positive changes regarding the global environment. To accomplish this mission, Green Earth Outdoors provides turnkey personalized sustainable adventure travel for families; experience-based wilderness trips for academic groups, youth organizations, private groups and corporate teams; organizational development; family programs; and outdoor skills training. We offer trips to unique natural destinations across North America and can also provide informative, fun-filled day trips and weekend outings to local Midwest destinations in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. We invite all members of the outdoor community to visit our new outdoor gear and clothing shop and outdoor education center, just a short drive (20-25 minutes from downtown Louisville) across the river in Southern Indiana. Made from reused, repurposed and recycled materials, and intentionally placed in a natural wooded setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you are always welcome to come out to shop for or rent gear, relax, ask questions about gear/clothing/footwear, trainings and trips, enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, do trip research or enjoy a book from our Adventure and Environmental library, or to just stop by and say hello.
