Greater Midwest Urgent Cares have multiple locations within the Midwest with plans to expand further. We are a privately owned business owned and operated by Dr. Walid Mahmoud. In July of 2011, he opened the first location in Sylvania, Ohio. He has been successful in opening eight urgent care locations in the local area to date, with another set to open soon. Our current locations are located in the following cities: Toledo, Ohio; Waterville, Ohio; Rossford, Ohio; Findlay, Ohio; and Temperance, Michigan. We strive to provide the highest quality of care for any patient that comes through our doors. We incorporate strong values of respect, compassion, integrity, and health promotion into our daily work. As our mission statement states, we seek to serve the community’s urgent medical needs by quickly and efficiently administering quality care from Emergency Medicine trained practitioners and technicians. At each location, we manage all non-life-threatening conditions and assist with primary care needs. We work with all ages in the community each day. We are a walk-in clinic, which means you can be seen by us relatively quickly and receive proper care for an illness or injury on the same day. We are able to offer a large variety of services that include emergency services, adult medicine, general medicine, travel clinic, dermatology, workers' health, diagnostic testing, radiology services, and orthopedics. We accept almost all medical insurance plans and networks, which allows most patients the opportunity to be seen by us when needed and be covered by insurance. For those without health insurance, we offer competitive rates for self-pay patients. Setting and achieving new goals is extremely important to us. Our main long-term goal is to become the area’s leading urgent care facility, while our short-term goals focus on advertising and promotion.
