Govhack

GovHack is an international competition supporting the co-creation of community focused solutions using open government data over a single weekend. It is for people of all abilities and thousands come together to form teams, create projects and participate in what has become one of the world’s largest open data competition. Creatives; developers; historians; scientists; data analysts; designers and change makers of all kinds participate in GovHack events! As one of the largest Hackathons in the world, 2019 saw over 1012 participants at 29 events across Australia and New Zealand. GovHack will run on the 18 - 20 August 2023.
