Good Uncle is the delivery-only meal plan designed around student life, from the food they crave to the busy schedules they juggle.
Our meal plans feature a menu that reminds students of home, whether they’re craving a bacon, egg and cheese from a neighborhood spot, home-cooked grilled chicken & roasted veggies, or an order of enchiladas or lo mein. We’ve collected data on over 500,000 meals (and counting) ordered through our iOS and Android app, and have designed our meal plan menu and service around the food students actually want to eat – when & where they want to eat it.
Which is outside the dining hall. Students get hungry at the library, a dorm or apartment, a fraternity or sorority house – past the hours when dining halls have closed & chefs have gone home for the night. So we deliver to popular points all around campus until the wee hours of the morning.
Students are given credits – not swipes – weekly, place orders from their phones & pick up from the smart ovens on our state-of-the-art vans, cutting out wasted money or uneaten food. We don’t charge delivery fees or minimums, so students only pay for what they order, not for unused dining hall swipes or unexplained fees. And we donate meals that go unordered to local food banks, so uneaten food doesn’t go to waste.
We use proprietary technology everywhere in our operation to support reliable delivery with best-in-class driver utilization – from our iOS and Android consumer app to the state-of-the-art equipment in our Mobile Kitchens and all behind the scenes software that makes our operation hum. We collect data on every action, order, and movement to align our menu, operations, and marketing messaging with each campus’s unique nuances.
