Gloria Coles Flint Public Library

The Gloria Coles Flint Public Library's mission is to be Flint's "go to" place to learn for life. GCFPL serves residents of the City of Flint, Michigan through a Main Library located in the beautiful Flint Cultural Center. The Library's key service priorities apart from its core services are Family Literacy, Digital Literacy and Encouraging Interaction in a Community Space. The Library is a key partner in the Flint and Genesee Literacy Network, a network of service providers aiming to achieve community-wide results: (1) children enter school ready to learn, (2) children are succeeding in school, (3) people are prepared for and succeeding in post-secondary education, and (4) people are gainfully employed at a living wage.
