Globalport Terminals Inc. and its subsidiaries (the “Globalport Group of Companies” or “Globalport”) are engaged in the business of port terminal management operations. Its expanding port network includes the ports of Matnog (Sorsogon), Tacloban (Leyte), Nasipit (Agusan del Norte), Pulupandan (Negros Occidental), Iligan (Lanao del Norte), Ozamiz (Misamis Occidental), Surigao (Surigao del Norte), and Zamboanga (Zamboanga del Sur). The Globaport Group of Companies is one of the pioneers in taking the role of port terminal management operator pursuant to PPA Administrative Order No. 03-2016 or the “Port Terminal Management Regulatory framework (PTMRF),” created by the Philippine Ports Authority. Under the PTMRF, the port terminal management operator’s role is expanded to cover not only cargo handling services, but also RoRo, PTB management, and other ancillary services required at the port.
