Global health at Miami University is a transdisciplinary science that prioritizes ameliorating health inequities at the individual and population level by collaborating with local partners to understand the complex causes of and to develop innovative solutions for health problems, both local and global.
It consists of three spheres: the Global Health Studies minor for undergraduate students, the Global Health Research Innovation Center for faculty research and alumni engagement, and the student organization Miami University Global Health Alliance, fosters extracurricular student engagement.
