The Global Anabaptist Health Network is a worldwide network that enables all Anabaptist health organizations and health professionals to connect, communicate, and collaborate in the name of Christ.
We focus on the promotion of relationships between individuals and institutions that share similar concerns and priorities of service to others. We envision the development of ties and exchanges between institutions with similar specialized services (general medical care, primary health care, mental health, support for persons with disabilities, etc.); between personnel working in these institutions; and between health professionals with Anabaptist links serving in other capacities (independent practice, government, education, research, management, etc.).
Recognizing the great potential for learning by sharing similar experiences and priorities, whether institutional or individual, we encourage institutions and individuals to identify and describe aspects of their professional lives that they wish to share with others.
We are institutions and individuals belonging to the Global Anabaptist Family of faith. As such, our dream is to be institutions and individuals who incarnate the values and shared convictions of the Mennonite World Conference as adopted by Mennonite World Conference General Council in Pasadena, March 15, 2006 (See more details on www.mwc-cmm.org).
These convictions draw inspiration from our Anabaptist forebears of the 16th century, who modeled radical discipleship to Jesus Christ. We seek to walk in His name by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we confidently await Christ's return and the final fulfillment of God's kingdom.
