Girls On The Run Memphis

Girls on the Run Memphis (GOTR) is a subsidiary of Girls on the Run International, a national leader in youth development programs for adolescent girls. Our program establishes lifelong healthy habits and instills critical social-emotional skills at a time when girls need it most. Our inclusive program provides schools and community organizations with a fully researched curriculum, addressing the mental and physical health of their 3rd-8th grade female students. Twice weekly for 8 weeks, trained and caring adults lead small teams of girls through empowering, confidence building lessons that cultivate empathy, develop leadership, and celebrate uniqueness. The program culminates with a celebratory, non-competitive 5K event, giving the girls a tangible sense of accomplishment.
