Since its establishment in 1997, Gilad, one of the first lobbying companies in Israel, played an active role in the major Israeli democracy developments, while contributing and providing consultancy and assistance to regulatory changes and policy setting of many Israeli public and social life issues. Amir Gilad, company's founder, gained vast experience working with the government and the Israeli parliament (Knesset), as part of his duties serving as a senior adviser to the Knesset Finance Committee chairman and the operations coordinator of the Union of Local Authorities. Ariel Sender, Chief Business Director, former acting director-general of the Tourism Ministry and director-general of the "National Union - Israel beytenu" party. מאז הקמתה, בשנת 1997, חברת גלעד, מהוותיקות בחברות הלובינג בישראל, נטלה חלק פעיל במהלכים החשובים בדמוקרטיה הישראלית תוך תרומה ומתן ייעוץ ועזרה לשינויי חקיקה ולקביעת מדיניות בנושאים רבים בחיים הציבוריים והחברתיים בישראל. מייסד החברה, אמיר גלעד, רכש ניסיון רב בעבודה מול הכנסת והממשלה, בין היתר במסגרת תפקידיו כיועץ בכיר ליו"ר ועדת הכספים של הכנסת ומתאם הפעולות של מרכז השלטון המקומי. אריאל סנדר, מכהן כבעלים ומנהל עסקים ראשי של הקבוצה, שימש בעבר מנכ"ל בפועל של משרד התיירות, מנכ"ל מפלגת "האיחוד לאומי - ישראל ביתנו".
