The German-American International School (GAIS) is THE International Baccalaureate School of Silicon Valley. GAIS develops in its students the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to thrive in a rapidly globalizing 21st century via the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Our mission is to provide an outstanding international, bilingual education focused on inquiry-based learning with the goal to foster confident, respectful, creative and responsible lifelong learners and global thinkers. GAIS serves over 300 students in Pre-school through 12th grade. Each grade is characterized by small, nurturing class sizes with individual attention. Students are taught in a multilingual environment, graduating with literacy skills in at least two different languages.
