Geopublishing Events

Our mission is to provide a hub for the geoscience community where leading, relevant content and knowledge can be shared, enhancing the practical and theoretical understanding of topics key to our audience. This is achieved through three main events that focus on digitalisation in oil & gas and oil & gas exploration on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). We are based out of Norway, where we also host our three main flagship events: DIGEX Digital technology is enabling the oil & gas industry to completely change the way geoscientists work, how it impacts our daily jobs and the possibilities that come with it. DIGEX is an annual event designed to bring together the fast-growing digital geoscience community and accelerate the development and uptake of digitalization in oil and gas exploration and production, through two days of moderated technical presentations and networking. NCS Exploration The Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) has proven to be a world-class petroleum province. NCS Exploration is designed for all-round explorationists with a need to get updated on recent discoveries that give high values for both the oil companies and the host country, and to discuss and showcase the latest exploration trends. The focus topic for NCS Exploration shifts between two main themes; Recent Discoveries and Advances in Exploration Technology, alternating each year. NCS Exploration Strategy NCS Exploration Strategy is designed to provide broader insight into short- and long-term oil and gas exploration strategies on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Attending companies showcase and discuss how they are building their portfolios to maximize reserves and position themselves to respond to fluctuating oil prices and outside pressure, and how they balance license acquisitions and divestments, farm-in opportunities and M&A activities.
