Gender Champions Club, Vips Tc

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the UGC, VIPS-TC actively engages students as members of the Gender Champions Club. Within this club, students are envisioned as responsible leaders who will foster an enabling environment wherein individuals of all genders are treated with dignity and respect. Gender Champions enhance the potential of youth to advocate for gender equality and monitor progress towards gender justice. The main goal of the Gender Champions Club is to take a comprehensive approach, drawing from various disciplines, to understand how the social and cultural aspects of gender shape the experiences of people from all walks of life in society. The objective is to cultivate gender sensitivity among the youth and foster positive social norms that uphold humanity.
