Gemmer Asset Management LLC is an independent advisory firm that specializes in creating customized portfolios for individuals, families, trusts and company retirement accounts. Our investment philosophy is grounded in a risk-managed, asset allocation approach using world class institutional money managers (i.e. mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts). We work exclusively through independent financial professionals to help deliver customized investment portfolios for their clients. So, as opposed to working with clients directly, we concentrate our efforts on partnering with advisors in the Greater Bay Area to provide a team approach that allows the advisor to focus on the unique needs of their clients while Gemmer focuses solely on the investment management and back office duties.
