Gelder and Kitchen LLP are an award winning UK Architect and Construction Consultancy, with over 130 years experience across a wide range of disciplines. Established in 1878 by Sir Alfred Gelder, Llewellyn Kitchen joined in 1892 to form the second oldest firm of architects in the UK today. Early work with Joseph Rank saw the design and construction of the first roller mill, thus starting a relationship with Rank (now Rank Hovis) which exists to this day. Today we continue the strong links within Hull and the north east, having also developed interests across the UK over recent decades. We provide a wide range of construction services, specialising in multiple industry sectors - healthcare, education, commercial, conservation, leisure and retail.
