Gastonia Police Foundation

Mission: The mission of the GPF is to increase excellence in policing while facilitating tangible, positive change in the community. The GPF will support endeavors that work to improve the quality of life for all. Initial goals: Support officers’ efforts to acquire higher education degrees. Provide police training opportunities. Development of collaborative efforts with community youth. Purchase needed equipment. The board members consist of local business professionals, selected by Chief Tim Adams, who have devoted time to the police department and/or our community. The Board of Directors will direct the actions of the organization and oversee disbursement of the funds.
