Gap Youth and Community Centre has been around since 1977 and was started by people from the Gap area of Alice Springs as a true grass roots community initiative. Gap Youth and Community Centre originally started as Gap Youth Centre or “Sainties” as it was known back in the day. Over the last couple of years we have transitioned to become a Youth and Community Centre, expanding our range of programs to include adults. Gap Youth and Community Centre provides the people of Alice Springs with a place where they can come to participate in a range of programs from recreational and sporting, to professional case management. We work closely with our Community to provide services that meet local needs and one of our biggest strengths is that we are much more than just a service hub, we are part of our Community and proud of our relationship with our town and its people.
