Between Catalonia and the Basque Country, Gallines Nòmades is based on the mimicry with nature, the recovery of ancestral practices and the implementation of innovative methodologies in the agro-livestock sector.
It is a project of applied research, of constant experimentation with the aim of regenerating damaged ecosystems through the holistic management of animals that graze freely while enriching and protecting the territory from threats such as forest fires or desertification and water scarcity.
Through the production of organic and nutritious food distributed through a short sales circuit, Gallines Nòmades aims to create an intimate and trusting bond with the consumer. The aim is to generate a debate on alternative models of consumption and production to the agri-food industry.
Through the observation of natural cycles, this project not only seeks to find answers to complex and global challenges, but, above all, it aims to (re)generate a safe space for personal empowerment and collective liberation, starting from the basis: to recover the power to decide what and how we feed ourselves.
